Solicits Public Comment on
Proposed Equestrian Parking Lot at Benson Branch Park
On Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 7:00 PM, the Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks Advisory Board will host a public meeting to present a proposed equestrian parking lot for park users who currently horseback ride at Benson Branch Park. The meeting will be held at the Department Headquarters located at 7120 Oakland Mills Road, Columbia, MD 21046-1677. Representatives from the Department of Recreation and Parks will provide a presentation summarizing the proposal, and the Advisory Board will accept public comments.
Beginning January 8th, citizens can sign-up online to speak at the hearing. From the same link, citizens will have the option to provide online testimony. Citizens are reminded that internet testimony is considered public information and is subject to the Maryland Public Information Act.
Citizens who do not wish to sign up online, will still be able to sign up in person at the public hearing beginning at 6:30 PM on January 15.
