2013 Mens Health & Fitness Fest
Presented by Howard County Councilman Calvin Ball, this free event features live music, fitness demos, information on prostate health, resources from health and fitness professionals and opportunities to train with our fitness experts. Identity Theft Forum
Sponsored by the Department of Citizen Services’ Office of Consumer Affairs, this free forum features a panel of experts from the Federal Trade Commission, Maryland Consumer Rights Coalition, AARP and the Howard County Police Department. The panel will discuss how identity thieves operate, schemes that target children and seniors, and what to do if your identity is stolen followed by addressing audience questions.

"Leave Your Mark: Art Tile Project"
Be a part of the Robinson Nature Center's "Art Tile Project" and help leave your mark inside the Center's main building. Individuals, three and up, are invited to create an original art work for a tile to be installed inside the Center; art supplies and themes will be provided. Cost is $35 per tile or $100 for three tiles. Proceeds from the event will support "Friends of the Nature Center" projects, including scholarships for Title 1 school field trips and an outdoor "nature play space" at the Nature Center. Not able to participate on June 15, no problem, there is still three more chances to leave your mark on July 31. Preregistration is required by calling 410-313-0400; however, walk-ins may participated based on availability.

National Night Out
Come join family, friends and neighbors for the 30th Annual National Night Out, celebrated for the second year at the North Laurel Community Center. The evening is designed to heighten awareness of crime and drug prevention, generate support for local anti-crime programs, and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
