Route Schedules & Maps
Howard Transit provides fixed route bus service in Clarksville, Columbia, Ellicott City, North Laurel, Savage and Elkridge. Service is also available to BWI Airport, selected MARC stations, and industrial parks along the US 1 corridor in Howard County.
Howard Transit Fares & Connecting Services
Howard Transit single fare is $2.00, Transfers are valid for a single ride when traveling in the same direction.
HT Ride
HT Ride is a specialized transportation service for individuals who cannot ride fixed route buses. HT Ride consists of two service components General Services and ADA Services. General Services HT Ride provides shared ride transportation to medical appointments, senior centers, social services, colleges and employment.

Main Street Residential Parking Permit

      As part of its phased-in parking management program in Downtown Ellicott City, Howard County is launching the Residential Ellicott City Parking Permit program on February 4, 2013. The free permit provides residents of Main Street with:
1. The right to park free of charge for an unlimited period of time in any of the metered spaces in public surface parking lots and; 2. The ability to park on Main Street and Maryland Avenue for free between the hours of 5 p.m. to 10 a.m. every day of the week.
