2010 Family Child Care Provider Conference

As a family child care provider, you concentrate everyday on creating a safe, fun learning environmnet. Sometimes it's nice to get out of the house and stretch your own horizons a bit.

Join your family care colleagues for Grow Your World, a family provider-focused conference that will provide training hours, information on regulation changes, and a chance to network with your fellow providers. Have breakfast during a presentation by the Maryland State Department of Education on regulation changes and new professional opportunities (1 hour PRO credit). Choose two of six breakout workshops tailored to your interests and needs as a family provider, and talk with your peers over lunch about the challenges and rewards of family child care.

All family child care providers are welcome to attend the conference.

Credit: 6 hours (core of knowledge varies with workshop selection)
