8th Annual Children’s Discovery Fair In honor of April being Howard County’s Month of the Young Child, residents are encouraged to stop by and check out the 8th Annual Children’s Discovery Fair, a celebration for young children ages 3 to 5 years of age and their families. Sponsored by Howard County’s Office of Children’s Services, Howard County Early Childhood and Child Care Coalition, Howard County Library and Maryland Family Magazine, this year’s theme is “My Feelings, My Friends, My Family.” The Fair will feature for free hand-on activities relating to school readiness including interactive games, songs, crafts and stories. Admission is free; however, attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Food Bank.
