Howard County Early Learning Center (Pre-school)

Our academic year preschool program focuses on developing a child’s social, cognitive, emotional, and motor skills through age-appropriate activities following recommendations by the Maryland Model for School Readiness. Children will enjoy hands-on projects such as crafts, science, nature, music, drama and cooking, while also working on academic, fine and gross motor skills. The safe, nurturing classroom environment encourages a child’s playful exploration of learning materials in preparation for kindergarten.  Staff are trained and licensed in early childhood education and take continuing education classes yearly. All programs are licensed thru the Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care.   

The age determination date is September 1, 2012. To reserve a space, a $50 non-refundable registration fee and one month's tuition are required.
