Reproductive Health Services
REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH SERVICES
The Howard County Health Department provides a variety of Reproductive Health Services to include various confidential and preventative health care for women, men and adolescents. Weekly family planning clinics are based on a sliding fee scale and are available by appointment. Eligible pregnant women are also encouraged to appy to WIC.
Services provided include pregnancy testing, HIV testing and counseling, sexually transmitted disease screening and treatment, emergency contraception, pap screening and abnormal pap follow-up, and health education. Breast exams and mammograms are available for women over forty years of age.
