Regional Planning Initiatives Baltimore Regional Transportation Board (BRTB): The mission of the BRTB is to provide regional transportation planning and policy making for the Baltimore region. The BRTB is a 10 member board representing seven jurisdictions in the region plus three state agencies. County Executive Ken Ulman is the chair of the board and is represented through an empowered representative from the Department of Planning and Zoning. BRTP: Transportation Outlook 2035: A federally mandated long-range transportation plan for the Baltimore region. It serves as a multi-modal blueprint for the Baltimore area by identifying the ways the region plans to invest Federal and State funds in the transportation system over the next few decades. There are opportunities for public participation in the decisions that effect the region.
