Parking Citations

Payment Options:

• Mail check, money order or cashier’s check made payable to Director of Finance Howard County to Howard County Parking Violations Processing Center, P.O. Box 2060, Tarrytown, NY 10591-9060
  
  
• For a $3.50 fee per citation, citations can be paid on line (click here) by credit card (VISA, Master Card, American Express, or Discover).
  
  
• In person at the Department of Finance, Cashier’s Office, 1st Floor, 8930 Stanford Blvd, Columbia, MD. Payments in person can be made by cash, check, money order, or Discover credit card.
  
  
• An after hours drop box is located at the 8930 Stanford Blvd to the left inside the vestibule door. Payments deposited after 8:30 a.m. will not be collected until the next business day.

Include citation number or tag number with payment.

If your tag has been flagged from Department of Motor Vehicles, and you require a VR119 release, personal checks will not be accepted for payment of parking citations.
