Office on Aging Serves Up Another Sumptuous Lunch--Superb Entertainment for this Year's Older Americans Day Luncheon!

A fun-filled time of good food, music and dancing draws enthusiastic crowd On Tuesday, May 25, the Office on Aging celebrated yet another exciting Older Americans Day Luncheon at Ten Oaks Ballroom. Volunteers served up a tasty meal of fried chicken with all the trimmings including a delightful bread pudding. Entertainment was exceptional and the "Big Blues Band" kept drawing scores to the dance floor. The event was kicked off with encouraging words from Department of Citizen Services Director Lois Mikkila, Office on Aging Administrator Sue Vaeth, and Senior Center Division Manager Barbara Scher. County Executive Chief of Staff Jessica Feldmark and County Council Vice Chairperson Mary Kay Sigaty presented a proclamation from the County Executive's Office commemorating the event.
