Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Marks 25 Years
This past Sunday, July 26, marked the 25th anniversary of the ADA being signed into law by President George H.W. Bush. A comprehensive civil rights law, the ADA protects people with disabilities from discrimination in employment, government services, public accommodations, transportation and telecommunications. In recognition of this monumental event, join me and take the pledge to recommit yourself to the goals and ideals of the ADA.
