County Executive Allan H. Kittleman hosts first quarterly Town Hall in east Columbia

Nearly 200 people turned out for County Executive Allan H. Kittleman’s first quarterly Town Hall meeting at the Other Barn in Oakland Mills. More than 45 residents took to the microphone to discuss topics ranging from upgrading aging housing to adding bike lanes on county roads to replacing the footbridge spanning Rt. 29 between Oakland Mills and Downtown Columbia. Kittleman plans to hold future town meetings in other parts of the County.

  • <h2>Howard County hosts Naturalization Ceremony</h2><p class="quoteCreds">Howard County is rich in diversity and inclusiveness. To celebrate that ideal, Howard County hosted, for the consecutive year, a special naturalization ceremony this past weekend sponsored by FIRN (Foreign-Born Information and Referral Network) and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. 50 immigrants from 24 nations took the "<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FChsuoBcrKE&amp;feature=youtu.be" title="Oath of Allegiance" target="_blank">Oath of Allegiance</a>" and received their U.S. citizenship certificates here at the George Howard Building in Ellicott City. Congratulations to all who participated!</p>

    Howard County hosts Naturalization Ceremony

    Howard County is rich in diversity and inclusiveness. To celebrate that ideal, Howard County hosted, for the consecutive year, a special naturalization ceremony this past weekend sponsored by FIRN (Foreign-Born Information and Referral Network) and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. 50 immigrants from 24 nations took the "Oath of Allegiance" and received their U.S. citizenship certificates here at the George Howard Building in Ellicott City.
